William “Bill” Roy Dean

William "Bill" Roy Dean 73, passed away July 29, 2021 at his home surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.

William was born in Atoka, Oklahoma to Leona Watkins and Valtion Dean.  He moved to California at an early age and attended Caruthers High.

He married Patricia (Patti) Ewing Sept. 12, 1969.  After the birth of their first child they moved to Goff,Kansas in 1972.

William worked for Mid AM in Sabetha, KS for over 37 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family, with the horses, fishing and raccoon hunting.

William is survived by his wife of 52 years Patti, daughter Chasity Uhl of Goff, KS, Son Austin (Rachel) Dean of Corning, KS, grandsons Walker and Wyatt Uhl of Goff, KS, 3 sisters Ann (Larry) Kirkendoll, Virginia Dean, and Donna Silveira all of Fresno, CA, plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins also in California.

William was preceded in death by his parents Leona (2016), Valtion (1998), brothers Alton (1957), Robert (1961), and sons Clayton (1993) and Ashley (1981).

Cremation is planned with no services as he requested.
