Wanda Jean Yandell

Wanda Jean Yandellpassed away July 28, 2016 in Meriden, Ks. She was born on a farm near Parsons, Ks. in 1934,to Merlin A. and Ruth O. (Karstetter) Atteberry. She spent her childhood in Parsons. In 1951, she united in marriage to Howard L. Yandell. Together, they raised four children. Wanda lived most of her adult life in Topeka, Ks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, their son, Victor, and grandson, Jonathan. Survivors are daughters Jenifer Kaneer (Tony), Andrea Spalinger (Rich), and son, John. Also seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Wanda had many interests, includingbaking pies, gardening, and she adored animals of all kinds. Her Christianfaith was unwavering, and she was a long-time member of the Topeka Bible Church.

Memorial donations may be sent to Helping Hands Humane Society, Topeka, KS, in lieu of flowers. Graveside services at Rochester Cemetery are planned for August 10 at 10 o'clock.
