Virginia Lee Coon

Virginia Lee Coon, 75, of Topeka passed away August 25, 2019 at her home. She was born November 26,1943 in Salem, OR. She was the daughter of Joseph Ramsay and Dorothy Watson (Parsegian). She was a loving, supporting mother and homemaker. Proceeding her in death was her husband John W. Coon, her parents, and one daughter, Shelly Jannelle.  She is survived by daughters Robin, Patricia, Jeanette and Jennifer, sons Eric and Roy. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sisters Betty Kaylor; Susan Johnson, and brothers Benjamin Ramsay, and Dennis Watson. Graveside Services will be held at the Burlingame Cemetery in Burlingame, KS on Saturday, August 31st at 10:00 am.  A luncheon for friends and family will be held at Topeka Bible Church, 1101 SW Mulvane St. Topeka KSat 1:00pm that day. Donations in Virginia's memory may be given to Kansas Palliative Care and Hospice, 6828 Silverheel St. Shawnee, KS 66226.
