Victor (Sam) Eugene Hammonds

Victor (Sam) Eugene Hammonds, born on December 10, 1957, in Missouri, passed away on August 8, 2024, in Hartford, Kansas. Known affectionately as Sam, he was a beloved father, brother, and friend, whose warm spirit and caring nature touched the lives of many.

Sam's love for fishing was matched only by the joy he found in spending time with friends and family. His stubborn yet loving personality made him a memorable figure in the lives of those who knew him, leaving a legacy of warmth and affection.

He is survived by his son Bryan of Kansas and his two daughters Becky and Deanna of Missouri, as well as to his son Curtis, also of Missouri, His sister Linda and brother Robert, both of Missouri, along with a host of friends and family who will carry on his memory. Sam's life was a testament to the importance of family, friendship, and the simple joys that life has to offer. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

The Family would like to welcome everyone to join them in sharing memories of Sam during a come and go Lunch/celebration of life at the Hartford Community Building on September 7th, 2024, from Noon until 2pm.
