Tony Allen Briggs (59) aka "Cowboy"passed away on Saturday (July 15, 2023) at his residence in Carbondale, KS. Born in Topeka on September 23rd, 1963. Tony was the son of Calvin Briggs and Linda Saulter.
Tony was preceded in death by his father Calvin Briggs, brother Dustin Briggs and stepfather Jim Saulter. He is survived by his lifetime partner Cindy Ozenbaugh, mother Linda Saulter, step mother Mary Ann; two sons, Anthony Briggs, and his wife Stacey of Houston, and Matthew Briggs, and his lifetime partner Rebecca of Gardner; his siblings, Janice Briggs, Debra Beshears, Terry Briggs, Tana Sharp, and Jennifer Church; 7 grandchildren, Caleb , Breanna, Makayla, Bella, Madalynn, Baylee, and Madison.
Although not long enough, Tony lived his life to the fullest. In his younger years he was a talented artist. He was a Framer and took pride in his wood working. He enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, playing cards, watching football, and loved motorcycles. If you wanted to see him light up all you had to do was ask him about his kids and grandchildren. He enjoyed going to concerts with his sweetheart, Cindy. His favorite song was "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones. When you hear this song please do so in remembrance of him and remember cowboy up!
