Tommie Don Chamberlain

Tommie Don (TD) Chamberlain, 59, passed away on July 3, 2018 at home in Lawrence, Kansas. He was born on January 14, 1959 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Robert Charles (RC) and Elizabeth Chamberlain. TD grew up in Muskogee but later moved to Wichita, Kansas. He moved to the Lawrence area in 2000. TD enjoyed working outside and being with family and friends. TD had a large family of 22 brothers and sisters. He kept in touch with them and all their families. He was an active participant in the recovery community and mentored many people throughout the years. He loved animals and had 2 dogs that stayed by his side until the end. TD loved his church and praising God through music. He was loved by all for his big heart and his smile. He was preceded in death by RC and Elizabeth, his parents and several siblings. TD is survived by his wife and partner Stacy Chamberlain; his daughters, Ashley Carnes of Wichita, Kansas, Michelle Burbank, of Wichita, Kansas, Angela (husband Isaac) Hatter of Seattle, Washington; his grandchildren Kelsey, Ava, Abigail Singer, Harlow Hatter; his great grandson Axl Dean Bloch; and his many brothers and sisters and their families.

A memorial service will be held at Connect Church 3705 Clinton Parkway, Lawrence, Kansas at 11:00 am, on July 14, 2018 followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Connect Church 3705 Clinton Parkway, Lawrence 66047 or to the Lawrence Animal Shelter 1805 E. 19th Lawrence, KS 66046.
