Timothy "Tim" Fennell, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas. Born on July 21, 1970. Tim's life was one of a warm spirit and a generous heart, which left an impact on all who knew him.
He worked in food management most of his life. He loved watching sports and was an avid Chiefs and Jayhawks fan. He enjoyed fishing, cooking on the grill, and gardening. Two of his favorite holidays were the 4th of July and St. Patrick's Day.
Tim was a family man, he enjoyed time spent with his children. He is survived by his parents, Ed & Karin Fennell, sisters, Kimberli Riggs, Sarah Tenbrink (Todd), his brother, Brandon Fennell, children, Kerstin Ashton (Josh), Aidan Fennell and Maryn Fennell, grandchildren, Ellenorah, Macaulay and Malcolm Ashton.
Tim's fiancée, Susan Heim was his rock, his confidant. Together they shared a bond that was a testament of their love and companionship. Missed by Yuri (cat). He also loved his dog Buck who passed on.
Tim's ability to have deep and lasting connections was known to those who met him. Friends became family, strangers became friends. He went through life with an open heart and a gentle spirit.
Throughout his life he approached each day with a consideration for others, whether it was through work, hobbies or his daily interactions.
Tim was a man of action and compassion, always ready to lend a hand. His absence will be missed by those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
We will miss him.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. at The Studio by Brownstone, 3935 NW 25th St. in Topeka, Kansas.
