Tim Farr

Tim Farr was born in Horton, Kansas in 1958. The family moved to Topeka when Tim was in Grade school. Tim Graduated from SHHS in 1976 lettering in football and wrestling. Tim then went on to the USMC,for 4 years.

Tim worked for the Railroad for 20+ years. He somehow always found animals along the tracks and brought them home as pets. Which goes to show how much he loved animals. He had owned many pets in his life, however snakes may have been one of his favorites.

Tim married Gerry in 1982, meeting through friends, then divorced in 2003.

Tim was a lifetime member of ABATE of Kansas at one point was the District Rep of ABATE district 4. You may have know him from his award winning rat bike, full of bumper stickers that Tim loved. He always loved running Toys 4 Tots, the Bike Show, Raising money for a good cause, and The famous Labor Day Rally's. If there was a problem he was always there to help.

Tim married Wauneta in December 2008, after meeting through ABATE. Wauneta loved riding bikes with Tim and all the member's of ABATE. Bikes were life. Wauneta passed in 2012.

Tim was a life time member of Flint Hills Girl Scouts, where he helped his daughters troop. Countless camping trips, and teaching girls how to fish. Always with a smile on his face even when doing dishes. Tim also coached his daughter softball team growing up.

Tim volunteered to help at Rossville Nursing home while his father was there. Always helping with Bingo, or Karaoke.  Tim had a passion for Karaoke, he was a fan of all sorts of music. He even knew how to play guitar in his younger days.

Tim had a passion for guns and knifes. Over the years he had quite a collection.

Tim was very proud of his family especially his Grand kids. He loved showing them all to all of his friends, and bragging about all of their accomplishments.

Tim will be loved and missed by everyone who knew him.

Daughter Tymothie (TJ), and Braden, Grand kids: Cortlin Kral, Kya, Atlee, and Justus Spicher.

Daughter: Tanya (Bomber) and Brandon, Grand kids: Greyson, Dawson, and Carson Marsolf.

Son: Robert (Robbie), and Tonya Dugger, Grand kids: Robert T Clark, Sabastian, Jesse, Brodie, and Charlotte Clark.

Daughter: Amber Shutts, and Adam Huggins, Grand kids: Akira Shutts, Alize Davis, Damon and Nathan Huggins.

Daughter: Melissa, and Blake, Grand kids: Caden and Makayla Johnson.

Son: Casey, and Nicole (Nikki), Grand kids: Joseph (Joey), and Casey Jr Shutts.

Sisters: Tami and Don Sheets, and Tonda Keeler.

Brothers: Terry(Joe), and Thomas (Frank) Farr, and Nancy.

And countless Nieces and Nephews.

Tim was a very beloved Friend, a mans, man. His family also includes Abate members of district 4, Patriot Guard, USMC, and countless others that Tim had helped in his life.

Proceeded by Death: Parents Tom and Eva Farr, Wife: Wauneta Farr, Son: Thomas (Ira) Farr, Grandsons: TJ Clark, and Griffin Spicher.

Memorial services will be held February 23, 2019, 3pm at Whitey's Place, 9500 T4 Rd Hoyt, KS. Bring a chair.

Donations can be made to Midland Hospice House or the VA.
