Thomas Davidson Bridges born in San Jose, California, died unexpectedly on December 10, 2016 in Topeka, Kansas. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Marikay and Wally LeValley of Carmel Valley CA, nieces Alyse LeValley and Evynn LeValley, nephew-in-law Cord Bynum and great nephew West Bynum, and his dogs Jack and Buddha He was preceded in death by his parents Peg and Tom Bridges of Monterey, CA.
Tom graduated from Monterey High School in 1964 before attending University of Northern Colorado, Greely and earning a Master's Degree from University of San Francisco. He had served in the Marine Corps Reserves. His occupations included teaching as well as social service administration in Colorado and Kansas.
He will be remembered for his dedication and work with the disabled, the down-trodden and the underdog. Tom's passion for sports, especially The Denver Broncos, is topped only by the love he had for his dogs.
A memorial celebration of Tom's life will be held on December 28th, at 6:00 pm, The Alcanon Club, 2100 SW Central Park Ave, Topeka, KS 66611
