Thelma Jeanell Wilder

Thelma Jeanell Wilder passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 28th, 2025. Jeanell was born on June 13th, 1939, to Eugene W. Minor and Thelma (Kendall) Minor. She was proceded in death by her parents, her sister, Vana Edwards and her niece, Kelly Streeter.

Jeanell lived most of her life in Topeka where she was dedicated to being a homemaker to her 6 boys. She earned a bachelor's degree for nursing from Stormont Vail School of Nursing. She worked at the VA for many years until she retired.

She will be remembered for her great love of Jesus, animals and gardening.

She is survived by her 6 sons. Glen Wilder, Scott Wilder (Susan Nelson), Steven Wilder (Christina), Joel Wilder (Sara), Andrew Wilder, and Christopher Wilder (Kim) and her 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Her love of family was demonstrated by devoting her retirement years to taking care of her mother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on January 31st, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
