Terry Lynn Piper

Terry L. Piper, a man known for his adventurous spirit and friendly disposition, passed away on July 15, 2023, in Americus, KS.

Born on December 14, 1952, in Emporia, KS, Terry's zest for life was contagious, and he made a lasting impact on everyone he met. Terry was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the great outdoors. His love for camping, hunting, and fishing was unmatched. His vast knowledge of the great outdoors was a testament to his adventurous spirit and his love for nature.

Terry was an extraordinary family man who cherished his loved ones deeply. He is survived by his brother Bruce Piper and two children, Carly Piper, and Casey Piper. He also leaves behind a loving daughter-in-law, Erin Piper. Terry was a proud grandfather to Alec Short, Tagen Piper, Gavin Piper, Kailyn Schlimme, Rykin Piper, and Logan Schlimme.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Linda Piper and parents Wally and Erma Piper.

His love for his family was evident in the way he spoke about them. His family was his pride and joy, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In his life, Terry taught us the importance of adventure. Even though he has left us, his spirit remains in the stories we share, the memories we cherish, and the love we carry in our hearts. As we remember Terry, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man well-loved. Bid farewell to Terry, knowing that his spirit lives on in the hearts of his loved ones.
