Terri Lea Visser

Terri Lea Visser, age 65 of Manhattan passed away peacefully Sunday November 26th, 2023, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Manhattan.

Terri was born May 28th, 1958, in Marysville, KS to Ed and Charlotte Berry.

Terri was a lifelong Manhattan resident and graduated from Manhattan High School in 1976.

In 1980 Terri was married to Mike Marstall whom she shared two children James and Jessi with. Though Terri and Mike divorced in 2001 they remained close friends and co-parents for their children. In 2005 Terri married Gary Visser to whom she remained married until her passing. Terri enjoyed cruising with Gary on their Harley, shopping, doting on her fur babies, and spending time with friends and family. Terri loved her children, grandchildren, and fur babies more than anything and never hesitated to share stories and pictures of them. Terri enjoyed two long fulfilling careers at KP&L and Florence Manufacturing where she met many wonderful lifelong friends. Terri will be remembered for her kind heart, thoughtfulness, infectious smile, and her sweet fun-loving personality. Terri was a proud Mama, loving Wife, and caring Sister and Daughter.

Terri was preceded in death by her Grandparents, numerous dear friends, and her precious fur babies. Survivors include her Husband Gary Visser, Children James (Vicky) Marstall and Jessi (Larry) Maxwell all of Manhattan; three Grandchildren, Mersadiez, Eadon, and Caleb. Parents Ed and Charlotte Berry of Manhattan, brothers Greg Berry of Perry, KS and Ronny Berry of Colfax, WI as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Terri loved her family unconditionally and her laughter and light are greatly missed every day.

Private Family interment will occur at a later date. Celebration of Life will be located at the Meadowlark Hills Community Room on Friday December 29th, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

In Terri's honor the family suggests memorial contributions to a local animal rescue. Memorial contributions to the Family for expenses will be accepted at the Ceremony of Life or can be mailed to 851 Mission Ave. Manhattan, KS 66502.
