Terrance “Terry” L. Dewitt

Terrance "Terry" L. DeWitt, 69, of Topeka, KS, passed away on February 3rd, 2025, at Midland Care Hospice House in Topeka, KS, after a courageous four year battle with cancer.

He was born January 2, 1956 to Earl and Leota DeWitt.

Terry was a veteran and served with the US Army being deployed to Germany and was honorably discharged as an E-5.

He married Tammie Lux in 1977 and they had two children, Alissa Coker and Brian DeWitt.

Terry was a CDL truck driver until he retired in 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Vicki (Morgan) DeWitt, and a brother Michael DeWitt.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Alissa Coker, grandson Corbin Boltz; son, Brian (Melanie) DeWitt, granddaughters, Kaylee and Lexsey DeWitt, two sisters, Jan (Earl) Kemper, and, Amy Hane, along with many nieces and nephews.

Terry will be missed by his family and friends.
