Teri Lynn Bullington

Teri L (Morton) Bullington was born on April 19, 1955, and went to be with Jesus on September 21, 2026, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was baptized March 17, 1968, and rededicated her life to Jesus, along with her husband Bob, who was baptized July 25, 2021. Both remain faithful servants of the Lord and worshipped at Rock Creek Church of Christ in Ottawa, KS and Southside Church of Christ in Ft. Myers, FL. their winter home.

Teri and Bob were married June 30, 1982, and celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this year.

Teri greatly enjoyed her time in shared hobbies with her husband Bob. They enjoyed riding their motorcycle, first to California for their honeymoon and many other wonderful trips through the years. They also enjoyed Bass and Crappie fishing, boating and watching the Kansas City Chiefs games. Teri was also in a bowling league with her sister Barbara during her early years in Emporia.

Teri’s career included a summer in Estes Park, CO., working at a dude ranch after graduating from Ottawa High School in May 1973. In High School she worked at both Dairy Queen and Briscoe Drugstore. Her career started at King Radio Electronics in Ottawa, KS. After moving to Emporia, she first worked at Nickerson Farms, then Reeble’s Grocery for 10 years as the office manager and spent the remaining 21 years working for the State of Kansas Lottery as a District Manager.

Teri is survived by her husband Bob of Emporia, KS. and his sisters Betty and husband Perry White of Emporia and Mary Knoeppel of Olathe, KS. Siblings, Ken Morton and wife Willa of Ottawa, KS. Anne Anderson and husband Mark of Branson, MO. as well as many Nieces, Nephews and her beloved pets, dog Mr. Snoopy and cat Mr. Linus.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Forrest and Dorothy Morton of Ottawa, KS and older siblings, Don, Harry and Barbara. In-laws Jean, Charlie and Norman.

Teri had a loving and servant’s heart and will be greatly missed by family, her church family and friends.

A celebration of Life will be held Thursday October 1st at 10:30am at the Rock Creek Church of Christ 2264 US Hwy 59, Ottawa, KS.
