Suzanne Penzenstadler, 82, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Salina, Kansas.
Born on March 21, 1943, in Omro, Wisconsin, Suzanne dedicated her life to education and family. She found great joy in teaching computer science at Kansas State University until her retirement at the age of 60. In addition to her career in education, she also served as a notary.
A devoted Christian and licensed minister, Suzanne cherished opportunities to share her faith, and spent time ministering at Lucus. Her deep spirituality was a guiding force in her life, shaping the kindness and care she extended to those around her.
Beyond her professional and spiritual pursuits, Suzanne had a creative spirit that shone through in many ways. She enjoyed creating gourd art, playing mahjong on her computer, compiling an extensive photo collection, and crafting a treasured family cookbook that preserved cherished recipes for generations to come.
Suzanne was the beloved matriarch of her family and took great pride in bringing loved ones together for special occasions. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lee Penzenstadler; daughters Leanne Griffith, Stacey Roberts, and Julie Penzenstadler; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters Josie, Nancy, Gail, and Paula. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Anne Diley; sisters Carol, Kathy, and Mary; and brother Leslie.
Suzanne's warmth and generosity touched many lives. Her legacy of love and dedication will be remembered by all who knew her. Her memory will carry on and brings comfort to those she leaves behind.
