Stephen Francis Watkins

Stephen (Steve) Francis Watkins, born October 19, 1953 passed away March 9, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Marilyn Watkins and is survived by one son, Michael Watkins of Topeka, two brothers, Mark Watkins (Dianne) of Oakley and Jay Watkins (Kristi) of Holton, one sister, Kathy Watkins of Holton, and special friend Ruthanne Longeway of Topeka. In his younger years Steve loved to fish, hunt and camp. He also liked to work on his cars and while in high school he completely rebuilt the engine in his bright yellow 57 Chevy and it ran like a top. Steve was a graduate of Highland Park High School and was a truck driver for Frito Lay for many years. He had many friends and will be missed. A graveside service will be held, in the future, at the Netawaka cemetery by Steve's immediate family.
