Shirley Jean Andrews Johnson

Shirley Jean Andrews Johnson of Topeka died on August 18, 2020. She was 59.

Shirley was born on June 28, 1961, in San Francisco, California to Roy L. Andrews and Vickie Taylor Andrews. She married Harold Burton Johnson III in Topeka and together they had one son, Harold Burton Johnson IV. Harold and Shirley were later divorced. Shirley met Wayne Fox and together they had four children, Skylar, Derek, Brad, and Brandee.

Surviving family members include her father Roy L. Andrews and step-mother Karen; children Harold Burton Johnson IV (H.B. and Carrie), and Skylar, Derek, Brad, and Brandee. She is also survived by her sisters Diane Minear (Rich), Rebecca Jenkins (Dwayne) and Stacy Murphy (Jim); grandchildren Harold Burton Johnson V, Victor, Josh, and Hailey; multiple nieces and nephews and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Bailey and her step-father Warren Bailey.

Shirley attended school and lived in Neosho Rapids as a child, however she made her home in Topeka and Carbondale all her adult life. She enjoyed coloring with pens and pencils, frequent trips to the local area casinos, mushroom hunting, fishing, and garage sales. She was a loving, caring mother and a loyal friend. Shirley will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her and loved her. A celebration of Shirley's life will take place at a date to be determined later.
