Shirley J Kneisler Delija

Shirley J Kneisler Delija, 80, passed away January 5, 2022, at Stormont Vail Hospital, after many years of health issues.

She was born December 28th, 1941 in Portland, OR to Kenneth and  Edith Pierce Kneisler.

She attended Highland Park School District.  Shirley lived in Galveston, Tx for a number of years, before returning to Topeka.  She married and later divorced.

She worked at Litwins Clothing Apparel (Topeka) doing alterations, then a clerk at Kneisler Liquor Store, until she became disabled. After becoming disabled, she did notary work from her home.

Shirley liked to sew and work with crafts.  She loved her family and pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Byron L Kneisler.  Survivors are a brother Robert Kneisler (Denise), Mayetta, Ks. Three nephews Kenny Kneisler (Shelley), Wichita, Ks; Kelly Kneisler, Mayetta, Ks; Darby Kneisler (Kristen), Lyndon, Ks. A niece, Bridget Fulkerson (Jason), Hoyt, Ks.  Three great nephews, Ben Kneisler, Hoyt, Ks;  Cody Tannahill, Hoyt, Ks;  Ethan Kneisler, Lyndon, Ks and a great niece Allie Kneisler also of Lyndon.  Great niece Kayley Kneisler, North Carolina.

Shirley was cremated.  There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Place of burial will be Topeka Cemetery.
