Shirley Dean Boudreau

Shirley Dean Boudreau, 90, of Topeka Kansas, also known affectionately as Corky to her family, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, following a short hospital stay. She was born on December 9, 1934, in the community of Burlington, Kansas.

Shirley graduated from Emporia High School. Her career consisted of working at Hallmark in Topeka, Kansas and running a home daycare in Topeka, Kansas.

Survivors include son Lyle Glen Shaw and his spouse Dionica of the Philippines, daughter Roxanne Luce of Topeka, Kansas, and son Chris Shaw and his spouse Janet of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Shirley has five grandchildren, Annette Shaw, Krystal Luce, Saxon Luce, Jennifer Walker, and Rachel Shaw, and seven great-grandchildren. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, J. Frank Boudreau.

Shirley enjoyed the simplicity of life's pleasures, whether it was taking a walk, tending to her garden, or caring for animals.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
