Shelly Anne Fraze

Shelly Anne Fraze of Clay Center, KS passed away on December 28th, 2016 after an eight month battle with cancer. She was 53. Shelly was born on July 27th, 1963 in Phoenix, AZ to William Fraze and Donna Campbell. All her life she passionately cared for everyone around her. If there was anything she could do to help another person she would do it. Shelly worked in many fields helping others as best she could. She was a Teacher's aide, a home caregiver, a nurse's aide, an office assistant and most recently until she could no longer physically work, she worked at Ferguson's Pharmacy in Clay Center. Everyone that was close to her was touched by her passion for caring and will forever remember her loving spirit. She is survived by her mother Donna, two brothers Rusty Fraze and Dana Fraze, sister Becky Hendren, son Ricky Oldham and his wife Jana Oldham, and granddaughter Kylie Oldham. She was predeceased by her father William. A celebration of life ceremony will be held on January 7th at 2:00 p.m. at the Clay Center Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to The Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, Ks where in the end, her loving care for others was given back to her.
