Shawn Prine

Shawn Prine, 68, of Oskaloosa, KS, died Sunday November 5th, 2023, following a lengthy illness.

She was born July 17th, 1955 in Washington D.C., the daughter of Clifford and Virginia Prine. She was a 1974 graduate of Rocky Mountain High, Ft. Collins, CO. She attended UNC at Greely CO, where she studied art, theater, and stage design.

Shawn was a kind, quiet and thoughtful person who enjoyed flower gardens, going to the mountains, art, reading books and watching classic and mystery movies . She loved animals, especially her cats. She will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her sisters, Heather Prine of Park City Utah, Jeanne Prine of Athens GA and Jennifer Sneegas of Oskaloosa KS. Also, her nieces Elizabeth Young and partner Josh Porterfield of Eau Claire WI, and Connie and Jokim Schnoebee and family of Letterkenny Ireland.

The family would like to extend thanks and gratitude to the staff of Heritage Gardens of Oskaloosa KS, for the kind and loving care Shawn received while living there for the last couple of years.
