Sharon Denise Huffman

Sharon Denise Huffman, 68, of Berryton, KS passed away peacefully on September 20, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was an army brat and lived in a variety of states and countries. She worked for the State of Kansas for 31 years. Sharon also was an Army veteran having served her country from 1973-1976. She graduated from Wichita State in 1984. She enjoyed a variety of crafts, card making, gardening, sewing, and antiquing with her husband. Sharon was predeceased by her father and mother, Arthur and Dorothy Long.

She is survived by her husband, Michael, her best friend of 42 years. In addition she is survived by her daughter, Emily in Berryton, two grandchildren, sisters, Michelle Ball in Andover, Kathy Mick in Derby, and two brothers, Jeff Long in Wichita, and Jon Long in Wichita. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as four great aunts and a great uncle. A Celebration of Life service followed by a lunch will be held in her honor. We request Sharon's and Michael's loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating their beautiful life at Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church on October 29th, 2022 at 10:30 AM.
