Sharon June Frost

Sharon June Frost, a loving wife, mother and sister, passed away on Christmas Day at the age of 66. It is impossible to do justice to her memory and how much she was loved and will be missed by all who knew her but especially her husband, sons and siblings.

She fought cancer with great courage and grace. She never gave up and was a great support to her family as they were supporting her.

Sharon was born January 19, 1957, in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Robert and Alice (Christensen) Taylor.

Sharon retired from Stormont Vail Hospital January 14, 2022, after more than 35 years of service.

Sharon was a member of the South Knollwood Baptist Church of Topeka since 1960. Her faith was extremely important to her. She accepted Christ as her personal savior and wants all to know she is in Heaven today. She wanted to share the Bible verse: 2 Peter 3-9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Sharon married Robert Frost on January 23, 2010, in Topeka. He survives. Sharon is survived by her sons Eric Gustafson, Phillip Gustafson (Alicia), grandchildren Hannah and Brody Gustafson, Step-children Philip Frost and Anna Derida (Gene), and siblings Robert Taylor, Susan Genther (John), Richard Taylor and David Taylor.

On a lighter note, she loved working in her yard and garden, especially mowing the acreage on her 1953 Ford Jubilee tractor. Four mile walks around the quarter used to be commonplace. Many enjoyable trips to spend a couple weeks in Maine with Bob's family. They all loved her very much. She enjoyed day trips in the convertible as she was a great lover of the fresh air and outdoors.

Cremation has taken place.  Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January, 20, 2024 at South Knollwood Baptist Church, 1813 SW 29th, Topeka.
