Shara Lee Gilbert

Shara "Stevie" Gilbert, 64, of Topeka, KS passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

Stevie was born October 2, 1958, in Topeka, the daughter of John L. and Vera F. Gilbert.

She had many gifts and talents but her passion for fashion topped them all, she owned a clothing store by the name of "Now Shop".  Stevie was a fun, loving, smart, wild, strong and a fighter of any battle that came her way.

Stevie's greatest joy was her daughter, Neion R. Gilbert-Jackson and her grandson, Kyrie Lee Christensen. She loved all her family, friends, and her little dog LuLu. Other survivors include two brothers, James D. Gilbert, Jerry W. Gilbert and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven L. Jackson, her father and mother John and Vera Gilbert, a brother John Gilbert, Jr., a sister, Shirley K. Bennett, and her son Deion J. Gilbert-Jackson.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date and held at the Victory City Church.
