Sarah Maude Williamson Lassiter

Sarah Maude Williamson Lassiter89, Died April 3 2016. Born January 29, 1927 in the Swabville community near valley Falls, Kansas. The daughter of Robert E (Ed) Williamson and Mary M Williamson.

She retired from the Department of Revenue in 1992 after 25 years of service.

She married Thomas J Lassiter on May 21, 1945. He preceded her in death January 16, 2011. Surviving her are her daughter Rhonda Lynn Lassiter Book; Son's Rory Trent Lassiter. Ric Amend Lassiter and Steven Rene Lassiter all of Topeka; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Sarah had a passion for quilting and one of her biggest joy's is having her Wizard of Oz quilt on display at the Oz Museum in Wamego, Kansas.
