Sandra “Sandy” Stewart

Sandra "Sandy" Stewart, 68, died the 11th November 2017 at her home in Harveyville, Kansas after a long battle with cancer. Her Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm this Sunday at the Harveyville Fire Station.

Sandy was born on the 30th August 1949 in Garnett, Kansas to Virgil and Imogene Barr. She was one in a family of nine children. She worked as a CMA in many of the local Nursing Homes and ran for years with the ambulance service out of Eskridge, Kansas. She married Laverne Stewart on 11th August 1966. She gave birth to 5 boys and 1 daughter. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Brothers (Terry Jo and Danny Barr), Son (James Stewart) and Grandson (Caleb Stewart). She is survived by her husband, 4 Sons (Laverne Jr. "Buddy", Jimmy, Timothy, and Thomas) and 1 Daughter (Michelle).

If desired, family and friends may make memorial contributions at the Celebration of Life. To help pay for medical bills. Any funds leftover will be donated to help fund Cancer Research.
