Russell L Hunsaker peacefully crossed the finish line, November 22, 2023. He was born to Gerald R Hunsaker and Luella M Chambers Hunsaker on March 1st, 1954, in Oakland California. They moved to Kansas when he was a young boy. He graduated from Derby High School in 1972. Afterwards he lived in Emporia, Melvern, and Osage City.

He married Joyce France in 1989. She preceded him in death in 2004.

Russell loved reading, music, fishing, cars, old movies, and his family. He had many friends, he called brothers, and 1 he called sister.

He is survived by his brother Jack Hunsaker, Prattville Alabama, his nephew Ian Hunsaker, Wetumpka, Alabama, sister-in-law, Margot Dietrich Hunsaker, and a dear sister friend Robin Dieker Williams.

In his younger days, his nickname was Printer. He ran many a printing press. He also went to outboard school and was a mechanic on boat motors at Melvern Lake Marina and Lakeside Marine, Topeka KS.

Per his wishes, he was cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
