RoseMary Phelps

Rose Mary Phelps passed away August 16th, 2026, at Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka, KS.

Rose Mary was born in Iowa City, Iowa, on January 23, 1951, to William Junior Phelps and Mary Jane (Yanda) Phelps.

She graduated from West Branch High School in 1969.

She was employed at University of Iowa Hospitals for 15 years.

She was a member of Grace Community Church in Derby, KS.

She enjoyed sewing and watching birds. She loved her pets. Some of their names were Ringo, Casper, and Nightwing Raven.

She is survived by a son, William James (Jamie) Boles, and his wife, Margi Maxine (Mayhew), and a daughter, Rachel Renee Boles; grandchildren Gusi (Boles) Anthony Lopez, Xander, Wade, Dawn, Hunter, and Preston Johnathan Hane and William M. Hane. Her great-grandchildren: Brauer, Avery, and Berkley. Her brother, Larry E. Phelps, and sisters Ann Aubrecht, her husband Kenny, and Linda Schnoebelen.

Also, many nephews and nieces.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her sister-in-law, Cynthia (Cindy) Phelps, and her nephew.
