Ronald W. Ryland

Ronald W. Ryland was born in Clay Center, KS June 22, 1940, passed away December 2, 2025 at the age of 85.

Ron was preceded in death by his wife Joyce, both parents Orville and Hazel M. Ryland, and sister Darlyne Green.

In his lifetime Ron was enlisted in the Air Force, owned his own TV repair shop, and had a long career in the Avionics industry with Cessna and Smith Industries.

Ron travelled extensively to 6 of the 7 continents, most notably lived in the Arctic Circle, England, and Greece. He visited all 50 states and at least 30 other countries.  Lived with his family in West Palm Beach, FL and then West Chester, PA.

Subsequently retiring back to his home state of Kansas.

He took to tinkering around his workshop, gardening, bird watching, watching old Westerns, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his three children Heather Hambridge, Sam Ryland, and Jennifer Ryland-Thomas (Mark). His 7 grandchildren along with his niece and nephew, cousins, and other beloved friends and family.
