Ronald E. Burgoon

Ronald E. Burgoon (81), passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Midland Care Hospice House. Ron was born on October 8, 1935, in Ottawa, KS, the son of Bert and Ardith (Northway) Burgoon. Ron married Arlene Borland on March 20, 1960. Ron worked for Capitol Police for 34 years, retiring in June 1996. Survivors include wife, Arlene; daughter, Joyce Burgoon; son, Gene Burgoon (Lisa) all of Topeka and two grandchildren; Carrie Burgoon of Topeka and Kyle Burgoon of Hays, KS. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:00am at Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, 2835 SE Croco Rd, Topeka, KS 66605. A graveside service to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Church or Midland Care Hospice House, 120 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
