Robert A. Ramonda

Robert A. Ramonda, age 79 passed away at KU Med Center on June 1, 2014. Bob was born in Osage City, Kansas to Peter and Agnes Diana Ramonda on January 9, 1935.

Bob married Kathleen Wilson on February 1, 1958 in Osage City, Kansas. They spent fifty-six years together. To this union, three daughters were born: DeAnn Ramonda, Topeka, Laurinda Ramonda Schlesener (Steve), Scranton, Jana Dreasher (JD), Eskridge.

Besides three daughters and his wife, two grandchildren survive, Antonio (Tony) Ramonda-Pruitt, Topeka and Renata Ramonda Knox (Tyler), Concordia. Bob is also survived by a sister, Irene Troilo (Dory), Wichita. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Alfred, Leona, Agnes, Ralph, and Virginia.

Bob graduated from Osage City High School in 1952, served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and graduated from Kansas State University in 1961. He retired as a Management Analyst, Social Security Administration, Baltimore, MD, and Volume Shoe, Topeka. Bob and his family lived in Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, and Maryland. He was a member of the Lowell Observatory, Flagstaff, AZ for many years.

There is no funeral planned. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
