Robert "Butch" Earl Horn

Robert Earl Horn, 75, of Havensville, Kansas, passed away shortly after midnight, Friday, July 5, 2024, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born April 1, 1949, the son of Earl Horn and Donna (Sewell) Whiles. Robert was raised by his grandparents, Robert Charles and Mildred Alice (Stevens) Sewell.

He lived a full life, and no one was ever a stranger to him, he had many friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards with the neighbor guys, fishing, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. But most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his wife, Holly Ann Horn of the home. Other survivors include his 94-year-old mother, Donna Whiles, a son, Robert "Bobby" Horn and his wife, Paige, a daughter, Holly Elizabeth Cannon and her husband, Stewart, and Uncle Robert "Bob" Johnson. Grandchildren, Autumn Horn, Jessie Horn, Sebastian Cannon, Elizabeth Cannon, step grandson, Skyler Cannon and step-great-grandson Dallas Cannon.

Sister, Cheryl "Horn" Peddicord and husband Mort. His niece Stephanie McCrary and her son Preston McCrary.

Four half-sisters, Debra Davenport, Trina (Tim)Hefton, Teresa (Morgan) Lewis, Tammy Washburn, and one half-brother, Wando Wayne (Debbie) Whiles.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Earl Horn, grandparents, Robert and Mildred Sewell, grandmother, Mollie Little, step-dad Wando Whiles, aunts and uncles, Elsie Horn, Wilde Burke, Roberta and Dwain Pace, Charlene and Don Cochran, Grace and John Washburn, Mildred "Alice" Johnson, Linda Riley, Carl Riley, Loyd Holt, Bill Davenport, brother-in-law Earl Washburn. Cousins, Laura (Washburn) Becerra, Billy Davenport Jr, Linda "Lindy" Davenport.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank-you" to Daniel the hospice nurse.

Robert did not want any funeral he wants his ashes to be thrown off the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
