Robert “Bobby” Irvin Goins

Robert "Bobby" Irvin Goins, 74, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, surrounded by his children. He was born on December 26, 1950, in Lawrence, Kansas to William and Betty (Church) Goins.

Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was known for his easygoing spirit, quick wit, and love of the outdoors. Some of his happiest moments were spent fishing and playing with his seven beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter Shana (Dave) Ekart, his son Jeffery Goins, his sister Diana Goins Kitsmiller, seven grandchildren — Lillian, Raylee, Abigail, Genevieve, Aiden, Olive, and Payne — and two nephews, Matt and Scott. Bobby was proceed in death by his granddaughter, Ocelia Mae, who was born an angel.

Bobby will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and deep love for his family. His memory will live on through the laughter, stories, and love he shared with all who knew him.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to honor Bobby's memory by spending time outdoors and cherishing those you love.
