Robert "Bob" L. Swovelan

Robert "Bob" L. Swovelan, 67, of Topeka, KS, passed away, Friday, May 17, 2024, in the comfort of his home with his love, Nova, by his bedside.

He was born March 4, 1957, in Missouri the son of Marshall and Juanita (Booth) Swovelan.

Bob graduated from Richmond High School, Richmond Missouri and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. He was licensed as a Registered Nurse for over forty years, retiring from DaVita Dialysis in Kansas City, MO.

He served as an Airborne Ranger in the US Army, enjoyed RVing, and had a great love for his Boston Terriers.

Bob is survived by his longtime beloved companion, Nova Cascone, of the home, a stepson from a previous marriage, Brandon Burgess of Kansas City, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Juanita Swovelan, and a brother, Edward Swovelan.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
