Robbin Denise Hoffman

Robbin Denise Hoffman (Finch), 61 of Manhattan, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Good Shephard Hospice House in Manhattan.

Robbin was born on July 16, 1956 in Ventura, California the middle daughter of James "Jim" and Anita (Endsley) Finch. She graduated from Park Avenue High School in El Centro, California in February of 1974.

Robbin grew up in southern California and lived most of her adult life in the northeast Kansas area.

On December 2, 1978, she was united in marriage to James "Jim" Shufflebarger in San Diego, California. This union was blessed with two children, James and Sara. They later divorced.

Robbin worked numerous jobs over the years in the healthcare field to include a medical assistant, a home health aide, and long-term care nurse. She graduated from Northeast Kansas Technical College in May of 1998 with a Practical Nursing Degree. She had a love for others and caring for the elderly.

Robbin was preceded in death by her mother, Anita and former husband, Jim. She is survived by her son James (Denise Gilligan) of Emporia, Kansas and daughter Sara (Matt) Huntwork of Manhattan, Kansas. As well as her father Jim (Lois) of Lodi, California, and sisters Michele (Gary) Jacobsen of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lori (Steve) Riggs of El Centro, California, and Heidi (Craig) Shelburg of Yankton, South Dakota. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation is planned and her family is holding a private celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be left in her name to the Good Shephard Hospice House, in Manhattan or at the donors choosing.
