Ricky Dale Ruby

Ricky Dale Ruby, 59, of Topeka, KS passed away April 26, 2024.

He was born on August 10, 1964, to Leonard and Neola Ruby in Wyandotte, KS.

Ricky was a long-time resident of the Kansas Neurological Institute in Topeka.

He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother and brother Gary (Anna) Ruby of Lancaster, CA and brother Jimmy. Ricky had many relationships across KNI campus. He often attended chapel with Chaplain Leon who he called Norman and volunteer Jeff. He had worked on campus in Dietary, the Soap Site, the Used Book Nook, and on a mail route.

Ricky loved to listen to a variety of music including Elvis and loved to watch MASH. He was known for going to the movies to enjoy the popcorn and a root beer.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Kansas Neurological Institute-Pleasantview
