Rick Tull

On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, Rick Tull, loving husband, son, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 67 in Topeka, KS.

Rick was born on July 31, 1953 in Independence, KS to Arthur and Norma Tull. He graduated from Independence High School in 1971 and attended Emporia State University School of Business until leaving to begin his career.  Professionally, Rick joined the Jostens Yearbook Company, working both in New York and Kansas as the Supervisor of the Printing and Publishing Division. He later worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation. Rick was an avid outdoorsman who loved gardening, hunting, and being outside.  He was a scratch golfer who played in many of the regional amateur tournaments and held a true appreciation and love for the game.  Rick loved his family and the people close to him.  He was always quick with a joke, stern with advice, and loved engaging in a good political debate.  His wife Lynne, along with their two dogs Wilson and Winston, spent their days watching the news, keeping up with politics, and enjoying the latest movies.

Rick is survived by his parents, Arthur and Norma Tull; wife, Lynne Tull; brother, Randy Tull; sister, Gina Eisler; daughter, Megan Rubow; grandchildren, Tegan and Vonley McAdoo; stepchildren, Cole Hawks and Tayler Cantrell; step-grandchildren, Sophie and Lyla Hawks, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
