Rick Cote

Rick Cote was born January 3, 1954. He passed away at 65, after a hard battle with cancer at his home on July 30th, 2019.

He was born in Topeka but raised in Meriden, Kansas. He was a graduate of Jefferson West in 1972.

Rick was a hard working business owner, Ricks Home Repair. He was a compassionate and faithful businessman that prided himself with, no job being too small.

He is survived by his two children, Patrick (Ashley) of Ozawkie, KS and Kristal Annett of Topeka, KS. His beloved grandchildren Nick, Trevor, Joshua, Drennon, Trenton, Aaliyah, Alissa, Gracie, Jacob and Carlos.

He is survived by his loving and caring siblings, Rodney (Debra) North Carolina, Mike (Vicky) Meriden, Danny (Jackie) Meriden, Karlene Holton, Russ Rossville, Chris (Kristi) Missouri and many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by a wonderful companion of 34 years, Jean Cote of Topeka.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Juanita Cote.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on August 4, 2019 from 3-7 p.m. at St. Aloysius Parish in Meriden, KS as Rick wanted to be cremated. Please joins us in reminiscing of great life stories and events of Rick.

There will be a family burial at the St. Aloysius Cemetary on August 5th, 2019 at 10 a.m. Family only please.
