Regis E. Campbell Iii

Regis E. Campbell III, 56, Topeka, KS, went home to be with Jesus on October 7, 2021. He was born August 6, 1965, the son of Regis E. Campbell Jr and Sandra (Martin) Campbell. He graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1983. He traveled with Up With People from 1987-88.  He graduated Cum Laud with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Washburn University.  He became a Project Management Professional and worked as an IT Project Manager for the State of Kansas at the Department of Transportation.

Regis became disabled due to a car accident in 2015. Since the accident, the staff at Dr. Boehr Chiropractic office became like family. We also want to thank the care team from Midland Hospice for their support.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Harding.  He married Mary (Korphage) Young on August 15, 1996 in Topeka, KS.  She survives.  Other survivors include his parents of Topeka; daughter, Abigail Campbell, Emporia, and stepdaughter, Emily Young of Topeka. Three sisters Catherine (Chris) Talbot, Weatherford TX; Heather (Daryle) Newsome, Novinger MO; and Ashley (Darin) Putthoff, Topeka; several nieces and nephews, many family and friends.

A funeral service will be 11:00am on December 2, 2021 at Lifepoint Church. Regis was cremated.  Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice or the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library.
