Regina Ferne Meyers

Regina Ferne (Baker) Meyers of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Stormont Vail Hospital from COVID-19. She was born September 10, 1939 in Ozawkie, Kansas the daughter of Maurice and Lorraine (Stebbins) Baker.

She married Al Meyers in Miami, Oklahoma.  They later divorced.  Regina was a Topeka High graduate and received her R.N. degree from Stormont Vail School of Nursing.  She retired from the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center in 2001 after 20 years of service.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and good friend to those who knew her.  She loved her family, Jeopardy, golfing, her bus trips and travels!  She is survived by her sons, Ron (Kim) Meyers of Topeka & Darren (Anita) Meyers of Silver Lake, 3 grandchildren; Daryl Meyers (Stephanie)of Topeka , Rochelle Meyers of Overland Park and Aaron Meyers of Topeka, 3 great-grandchildren; Brody Meyers, Jordy Meyers and Olivia Meyers.  She was preceded in death by her father Maurice Baker, her mother Lorraine Baker and brother M. Dwaine Baker.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, a celebration of Regina's life will be planned at a later date.
