Regina M. Harris, 88, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Memory Center in Topeka on July 8, 2020.

She was born February 9, 1932 in Onaga, Kansas, daughter of Peter and Lucille Schilling.

Regina was married to Paul R. Harris on February 7, 1953 in Topeka, Kansas. Regina and Paul recently shared their 67th wedding anniversary. Paul survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Randy (Lori), and Darrell; sister, Grace Coleman; granddaughter Ashley; three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brother, Karl Schilling; sister, Joy Wellman and a great grandchild.

Regina worked for the State of Kansas and the Kansas Corporation Commission for 42 years as an IT Specialist.

Regina enjoyed many activities and hobbies and was an accomplished painter of country scenes. She co-authored a family cookbook to pass down the family's favorite recipes.

She was a longtime member of Crestview Methodist Church. Regina volunteered many hours of her time teaching and studying the bible, cooking meals for events and many other activities. Regina delivered home cooked meals, spend time and provide comfort to those who were ill.

Regina always had a kind word and smile for anyone she encountered. She will be greatly missed as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

A private graveside service will be planned at a later date.
