Randall Lee Becker

Randall (Randy) Lee Becker, 57, Topeka, passed away with family by his side on Monday, February 13, 2017 following a battle with colon cancer. He was born February 8, 1960 in Lincoln, NE.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents John and Shirley Becker and brothers Ron Becker and Bart Becker.

He is survived by his partner Peggy Criqui of Topeka, KS; daughter Brandy Johnson (Tyler) of Topeka, KS; stepdaughter Melissa Coburn (Michael) of Topeka, KS; grandchildren Brooke Johnson (7), Parker Johnson (1), Haley Frazier (14), Lila Coburn (14) and Jacob Coburn (11) all of Topeka, KS; sisters Cindy Kiplinger of Omaha, NE and Marilyn Taylor of Beatrice, NE.

Randy graduated from Alma High School in 1978. His life's work was in the restaurant and bar business beginning at the Alma Hotel. Many knew him from Top of the Tower or his long time ownership of the Jayhawk Club in Topeka. Most recently he was a bartender at Terry's Bar and Grill.

Randy was a devoted father, papa, brother, uncle and friend. He loved traveling, golf, cooking, Kansas State University, chimenea fires on the deck and his 1971 Monte Carlo.

Family is hosting a visitation Saturday, February 18 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home.
