Rachel Ann Hewins

Rachel Ann Hewins, 78, of Topeka, KS, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the House at Midland Care.

She was born June 29, 1944 in Topeka, KS the daughter of William and Mildred (Best) Rees.

Rachel graduated from Hayden High School and attended Washburn University where she earned a Bachelor Degree.

She was a Master Framer retiring from Beauchamp's Frame Shop.

Rachel is survived by her husband, Mark Huggins, and two sons, Matthew Huggins and Adam Huggins.  Three brothers, Michael Rees, Danny (Pam) Rees, Joel Rees, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Rees.

Cremation has taken place.  A private service will be held at a later date.
