Phillip Preston Morse

Phillip Preston Morse,68, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 29, at his home, due to heart disease.

Phil was born Feb.3, 1952, at Topeka, son of Paul C. "Cody" Morse, Sr. and Bette Talbot Morst. He was preceeded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul C. Morse, Jr. (Boyd Fetterolf) and Timothy Owen Morse. He is survived by a sister, Cindy Morse Miller and two nieces, and his wife, Miriam L. Cox.

Phil graduated from Topeka High School. He later worked as warehouse manager at Standard Liquor, office furniture sales and design, and AT&T cell phone service.

Phil loved his music, especially rock and blues, enjoyed having a beer with his friends at the local bar, and was a great pool player.He also loved dogs, especially his Golden Retriever Alex.

Cremation is planned per Phil's wishes
