Philip Ervin Daugherty, 76, of Topeka, KS passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 in the comfort of his home with loved ones at his bedside.
He was born September 25, 1946, in Pacific, MO the son of Clarence and Helen (McGinnis) Daugherty.
Philip owned and operated Handcraft Dental Lab for 35 years. In his spare time he enjoyed attending dirt track races and spending time with family and friends.
He married Dianna Gayle Braut on September 17, 1966, in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Mark Daugherty and his wife, Kim, a daughter, Christen Brown and her husband, Mark, and a sister Helen I. McDonald. Eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Helen Daugherty, along with three brothers, James, Darrell and Paul Daugherty.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 until 5:00 pm Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Rosewood Event Venue, 3216 SW 29th, Topeka, KS 66611.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made in Philip's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, sent in care of Midwest Cremation, 525 SE 37th Street, Topeka, KS 66605. Donations may be made directly to the Alzheimer's Association by clicking on the link at the bottom of this webpage.
