Perry Ray VanDenenter

Perry Ray VanDeventer passed away at home on June 12,2026. ‘

He was born on August 30, 1947, in Laramie, Wyoming to Robert and Bonnie VanDeventer.

Perry grew up in Wyoming and graduated high school from Natrona County Highschool in 1964 and went on to attend the University of Wyoming, where he earned a degree in accounting and practiced as a CPA for many years. Additionally, Perry held positions in local governments, the United Way and served as a member of various non-profit organizations.

Perry had two passions in his life: photography and a greenhouse operation growing carnations in Colorado.

There were two children born from a first marriage: a son, Robert VanDeventer (deceased) and a daughter, Katrina Quinn.

Perry married Cynthia Runge of Concordia, Kansas on May 18, 1978.

He is survived by Cynthia, and sister Robin Bailey of Gillette, Wyoming and 2 nephews: Derek Bailey (Nicole) and Ryan Bailey (finance Miranda Voyles), brother-in-law Robert Runge and wife Joanna, sister-in-law Victoria Runge, sister-in-law Catherine Runge, grandchildren Harper, Gage and Aiden and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, brothers’-in-law Tom Runge of Hays, Kansas and Mark Runge of Emporia, Kansas.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date
