Paula Kay (Browning) Rolsing, 79, passed away November 24, 2018. Paula was born June 21, 1939 at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Pittsburg KS to Arthur and Katheryn Browning.
Paula married her husband Tony on July 27th, 1983, he survives along with her children, Amy Lee, Scott Lee (Kathy), Kelly Seuell (John), Stacy Lee (Doug), Jodi Lee (Steve). Sisters Diana Boyd (Tom), and Kristin Black (Gary). Paula is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Paula was proceeded in death by her parents and sister Linda Boyd, and brother Mike Browning.
Paula graduated from Kansas University and also earned her Master's degree in education from Emporia State University. Paula taught special reading in USD 501 for 29 years and retired in 2004. Paula taught reading at Highland Park Central, Quinton Heights, Whitson, and Randolph elementary school. "Mrs. Rolsing" made it a point to learn every child's name at all the schools she taught and was loved and highly respected. She always had a genuine caring for each student and more than appreciated their uniqueness.
Paula loved Kansas basketball and football games, traveling to the mountains and National Parks, and celebrating every holiday and the Fleadh (Irish family reunion) with her children and their families.
Paula was a caring and giving person and often gave gifts to Harvesters and Let's Help. A celebration of Paula's life will be held Wednesday November 28th, at Viking Grille, 4731 NW Hunters Ridge, Topeka Ks. from 6-9 PM.
