Paul Joseph Rodenbaugh

Paul Joseph Rodenbaugh of Techumseh, KS, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023.

He was born January 23, 1944 in Topeka, KS, the son of Mathias and Edith (Brubaker) Rodenbaugh of St. Marys, KS.

Paul was a 1962 graduate of St.Marys High School and attended business college in Topeka. He worked in the business office at Santa Fe Railroad and at Topeka salvage pool.

He married Faye Valburg-Fischer in 1963 and were blessed with four children; daughters Marjorie Ann Haynie of Duluth KS, and Deanna Lorien Warren of Overbrook, KS, sons James Anthony Rodenbaugh (Sue) of Smithfield, NC, and Andrew Mathias Rodenbaugh of Paxico, KS. They later divorced. He later married Carol Goodson in 1990 having been blessed with a son, Nelson Mathias Rodenbaugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Anna Mae McMorris, brothers, Leo and Bernard Rodenbaugh, and a great-grandson Tyler James Rodenbaugh.

Survivors include his five children, wife, Carol, she resides at their home, sister Helen Cormie of Belvedere IL, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22,2023 at 10:00 AM at the Piper Funeral Home located at 714 Maple St. in St. Marys, KS.

The family request in leu of flower donations be made to the American Heart Association.
