Patricia Frieda Hite

Patricia Frieda Hite passed peacefully in her sleep on November 21st, 2025, at the age of 90 years old at her daughter & son in-laws' home in Topeka, KS. They welcomed her into their home with opened arms in July 2022 to take care of her after the passing of her husband Donald L Hite April 2022.

Patricia was born in Ferndale, Michigan on July 27th, 1935. She married Donald Hite on March 10th, 1958. They were married for 64 years. Patricia was a waitress in her early years, then did all sorts of homemade crafts then went on to putting on her own crafts shows. All the crafters loved her.

Patricia proceeded her death by the passing of her loving husband Don, her sister Beverly Harper, Her Father and her mother, Stanley & Frieda Payne. She is survived by her son (Scott Hite & daughter in-law Lesa Hite) & Daughter (Laurie Sadler & husband Ron Sadler), Her sister (Barbara Saalfeld & Brother in-law Dick Saalfeld). She had several grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved so much.

She loved going to Bingo and the Casino. We would leave to go in the car, and her saying was "Here we go!" She would get so excited when we were almost there! She was very lucky at bingo and in the casino and would play for hours. She also loved playing Skibo and other card games like rummy, and pitch. She loved having family gatherings and cooking big, delicious meals. Family was very important to her. She will truly be missed by all her family and friends.

She will be cremated, and the graveside services will take place December 6, 2025, at 1 pm at the Carbondale Cemetery, Carbondale, KS. Followed by a Celebration Life at our house. 3005 SE Wisconsin Ave, Topeka, KS Feel free to bring a food dish to share but not required. Everyone is welcome!
