Pamela Sue Jones

Pamela “Pam” Sue Jones passed away on April 8, 2026. She was born on July 5, 1953, in Rapid City, South Dakota, to Paul Lowell Swearengin and Lorraine (Firkus) Swearengin.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lorraine, her brother Mark, and her husband Arthur Jones. 

She leaves behind her sister, Peggy Michael; her nephews, Dane Swearengin and Seth Swearengin; her common-law husband, Edward Claussen; as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Pam had a creative spirit and found joy in making things with her hands. She loved sewing and often made her own clothes, always taking pride in looking her best. She also enjoyed knitting afghans, quilting, making jewelry, and spending time in her yard caring for her flowers. These simple joys brought her happiness and are part of the memories she leaves behind.

Graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery with family present. Interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Pam’s name.
